Plymouth City Patriots & Plymouth Marjon Patriots

During the 2023/24 British Basketball League season, I photographed the Plymouth City Patriots’ home games. Basketball is always a great sport for sports photography, as it is very fast paced and dynamic. There are a lot of skills on display, such as dunks, dribbles and passes with flair. This makes great moments for photographs and is something that I constantly aim to capture with my work for them. From the body of work I produced throughout the season, I selected ten images that I submitted to the 2024 International Photography Awards. I was very successful and won 1st place in my category. I also worked with the Plymouth Marjon Patriots, who are a basketball team based at Plymouth Marjon University.
